Paragliding

Trial flights: accompanied by an instructor, discover the joy of gently gliding over the fabulous scenery of the southern French Alps.
We recommend you wear sports clothes and a light or warm wind-proof jacket depending on the season.
Flight time is approximately 20 minutes.

Sightseeing flights: you will greatly enjoy getting to know the area in a highly original way in the company of a local pilot who is totally familiar with the region. Flying from the Verdon Gorges in the south of the Haute Provence region to the Serre Poncon lake, and occasionally close to the foothills of the Ecrins mountain range, you will have the opportunity to view a wide range of different scenery that will leave you with unforgettable memories.

We recommend you wear warm clothes for these flights, even in summer.
Flight time is a minimum of 1 hour.

Hot-air ballooning

Hot-air ballooning is one of the most amazing and superb forms of flight. Enclosed in a wicker basket under the imposing volume of the balloon you can enjoy a serene and contemplative flight.
Let our pilots help you to discover just how close you can get to nature on such a flight, wherever you may be. Most of our hot-air balloon flights take place in the Gap region, in the mountain range north of Gap or in the southern Provencal region of Moustiers Sainte Marie.

Flights normally take place either early in the morning (an hour before dawn) or in the evening (two hours before dusk). You may be interested to know that the light at these times of day is particularly good for taking aerial photographs.

For this type of flight no special clothing is required.
Flight time is a minimum of 1 hour.
Each flight can take between 1 and 5 passengers.

When giving a hot-air balloon flight voucher as a present, why not include a meal at "La Bastide de Moustiers" , one of the major gastronomic centres of the Provencal region.

Micro-lights

There are two main types of micro-lights. Those known as 'trikes' are controlled by a 'shift of weight' in a similar way to a hang glider and those known as 'three axis' have controls similar to conventional aircraft. Whichever type you fly, you will be surprised both by the speed and the technical efficiency of the machine and your experience will be enhanced by the pleasant company of your instructor during the flight.

The speed at which these modern machines can fly (100-220 km per hour) and also the level of comfort is truly amazing, and you will be able to view quite diverse landscapes from the Ecrins mountain range in the North to the Provencal landscape of the South.

Trial flights
Recommended clothing: you may wear your normal clothes and we will provide windcheaters or flying suits, gloves and any other technical equipment needed.
Flights take place in the Gap region.
Flight time: 20 minutes

Sightseeing Flights
You may choose your own itinerary depending on which areas of the region you wish to see. You'll be surprised by the diversity of the landscape.
Flight time depends on the itinerary chosen.

Free fall parachuting

If you are looking for a thrill, this is the one for you…a once in a lifetime experience.
Tandem jumps are made with an instructor from an altitude of 4,400 meters above sea level and 3,800 meters above the Gap-Tallard Aerodrome. At this altitude (if you still have your eyes open!) you can enjoy a magnificent view over the whole of the French Alps. The free fall itself lasts for about 45 seconds and you can continue to admire the view for a further 5 to 10 minutes while descending to the ground with your parachute open.
Our cameraman, who will accompany you, can video your jump and record all your reactions, all the way from the plane's take off to your final landing.
For this activity, you must provide a medical certificate (which can be obtained from any GP) showing that you are in general good health.

Gliders

This region is one of the best for gliding in Europe, and here you can discover for yourself the amazing sensation of being able to glide and swoop through the air just like a bird. You will be towed up onto one of the many local thermals, which in local parlance are known as 'pumps' and your pilot will show you how to gain altitude by using the energy of the natural forces around you (ie wind, sun and air). Depending on the air currents and your resulting altitude, you will probably have a panoramic view of the Gap region with its mountain peaks of Ceuze, Pic and Bure, as well as the surrounding countryside.

For this type of flight no special clothing is required.
Flights last 30 to 40 minutes.

Helicopter flights

All of us dream of taking a trip in a helicopter but flying into the mountains in a helicopter is even more special. We invite you to enjoy a helicopter flight in the company of Thierry or Dominique, specialists in mountain flying, who between them have logged several thousand hours of flying experience in our mountain ranges. Both of these pilots will provide you with lots of interesting information and you can enjoy the benefit of their extensive experience.

Trips cater for groups of 4 to 5 people.
