| Since time immemorial man
has sought to conquer the sky. The use of modern design
concepts, new technology and materials in today's advanced
light and micro-light aircraft gives us the opportunity
to fly in complete safety, no matter which type of aircraft
we choose. The ease with which people can now enjoy flying
is attributable to the many initiatives of recent years
and, above all, to the close co-operation between government
organisations, flying federations, manufacturers, training
instructors and, not least, the media and pioneers. All
of these together have made it possible for the public at
large to realise their childhood dream of flying.
It is important though to remain prudent, as flying is
one of those experiences in life, where discipline and
humility are absolutely essential. Make the most of any
advice given to you and be careful not to singe your wings!
